It was with careful consideration that we chose this name for our restaurant. to you, our customers, we want to offer an elegant, friendly environment with a fresh, new menu. we are dedicated to use only ingredients of the highest quality and tasteful variety so that you can enjoy the different flavours of our exquisite recipes. while you are being attended, we invite you to get to know the origins of Mexicactus bar and grill.
The cactus is one of the known succulent plants and is recognized by the presence of needles and a pulpy weaving used to conserve water in its stem, leaves and roots during times of severe drought. these pleasant plants are of American and Mexican origin, found mostly in desert regions. thanks to their great adaptability, they have extended their habitats into different climates and environments.
According to history, it has been discovered that the cactuses arrived in Europe by the hands of christopher columbus, expeditions carried out by scientists, Dutch, Spanish and English merchants traveling to the antilles, Mexico, central and South America. knowing that the forest city of london is populated by many different cultures, we want to extend our gratefulness by offering you the very best from our menu, which consists of a combination of mexi (Mexican and cactus plant from the north), central and south American cuisine.

El cactus es la mas famosa de las plantas suculentas y se caracteriza por la presencia de puas y de tejido pulposo para conservar el agua en los tallos, hojas y raices cuando tienen que soportar periodos de sequia, el sentido etimológico de la palabra cactus proviene del griego kaktos, que se cree que utilizaban para designar a alguna planta parecida al espino. estas plantas gustosas son de origen americano, en concreto de las regiones desiertas de estados unidos y México, aunque se han extendido por todo el mundo gracias a su gran adaptabilidad a los diferentes climas y ambientes.
Pero remontandose en la historia se descubre que las cactaceas llegaron a europa de mano de cristobal colon, en las expediciones realizadas por cientificos y comerciantes espanoles, holandeses e ingleses a las antillas, mexico, america central y america del sur.
